Questions If you need more info or pictures, drop me an email. The winning bidder must contact me via eBay within 48 hours of the auction end to agree payment and shipping terms - if this is not done I will cancel the winning bid and relist. If the winning bidder is in the UK, cash on collection is fine. Please note that the eBay listing process forces me to insert a shipping cost so I have put plug values in - these are NOT actual shipping values/costs - these costs will be determined at auction end purely by the actual cost of shipping based on the cost of sending the item from the UK to the winning bidder's location by the agreed postal service and with the agreed level of insurance etc! Payment Paypal or bank transfer. Exact shipping and insurance details and costs will be agreed with the winning bidder once the auction is finalised and I will ship at whatever that agreed cost is. I will ship worldwide with the exception of Italy. Shipping The item is located in the United Kingdom. As you can see from the pictures, it was produced in 1941. During the Yugoslav war of the 1990's, Swedish Mausers equipped with these scopes were still a weapon of choice for snipers on all sides. They had originally planned to replace and retire the scopes (I think in the 1960's) but they were so effective and valued by their snipers that they continued in use into the 21st century! After the war these scopes were upgraded by coating of the lenses (a process unavailable during WW2). The Swedes used these rifles/scopes as standard sniper equipment not only during WW2 but long afterwards.

These Ajack scopes were essentially identical to those issued early in WW2 to the Waffen XX in Germany for use on their Mauser model 98 rework sniper rifles (with a slightly different design of the short side rail mount to fit the Swedish rifle). Included in the German arms supplies were a number of very high quality 4 x 90 Ajack sniper scopes with matching short side rail mounts to be used on the "Swedish Mauser" in service in Sweden. For those that are not aware of the history, early in World War 2 the Swedes cut a deal with the Nazis to trade mineral resources for military equipment.
